Stiltz utilises technology to introduce advanced virtual homelift consultations

To help give elderly and disabled customers peace of mind during the COVID-19 pandemic by reducing face-to-face contact, Stiltz is offering virtual consultations for those in need of a homelift.

According to Stiltz, its remote homelift consultations are a fast, contact-free and safe alternative to traditional in-home consultations for vulnerable customers during the pandemic by reducing the risks associated with transmission of the virus.

To facilitate the virtual consultations, Stiltz says customers just need a laptop, smartphone or tablet.

However, the homelift specialist reinforces that for those wanting a traditional home visit, the company thoroughly takes shielding, social distancing, and the health of its employees and customers into consideration before visiting.

After carrying out a risk assessment of the individual’s situation and determining that it is safe for the customer to have a home visit, Stiltz staff wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow social distancing guidelines.

Continuing to rapidly expand in spite of the global pandemic, the homelift manufacturer also recently moved into its brand new, purpose-built headquarters in the West Midlands and has initiated a nationwide recruitment programme.

Boasting extensive warehousing, the new site will house Stiltz’s customer service and technical teams, a global R&D centre of excellence, a state-of-the-art training hub and a customer showroom to demonstrate its product range.
